As the operations star at Promotional Currency, Cyndi Walker is the maestro that keeps everything running smoothly and on cue. Cyndi oversees the backend management of all promotions, contract development, vendor relationships and is the go- to-person for client support and program deployment. Since joining the company in its infancy, she has facilitated the successful launch and delivery of more than 1,000 promotions, and recently managed promotional campaigns for clients such as Sony, Moet Hennessy, Eidos, Konami, Logitech, Carl Buddig & Company, and Kellogg's, just to name a few.
Cyndi began working with President Barry Schaffer in 1998 at SCA Promotions. They were both in the promotional risk arena before taking their offering to a more relevant product of prepaid promotional phone cards.
"Now," she says, "the digital industry has a much longer shelf life, and the new technologies that we can offer our clients and their brands just keep getting better - they are more relatable and allow us to deliver them to end users in a much more exciting and interactive environment."
When not working on Promotional Currency related projects, Cyndi loves traveling with her husband Craig and their son Jackson. Somewhere in her busy life, she does find spare time to enjoy her two biggest passions: she is a scuba diving enthusiast (she plans to scuba dive along the Great Barrier Reef one day) and loves to read (just not both at the same time). She is also actively involved with Pencils for Peace, a non-profit she co-founded with her active-duty sister to help provide school supplies for children in Afghanistan from children in the US.
